Pillar Security is looking to fill the position of Professional Security Concierge, who, under the direction of the Site Supervisor, will primarily be responsible to support customer by resolving questions, concerns, and technical issues, as well as handling customer inquiries and complaints.

· Police Foundations / Law Enforcement diploma is an asset

Job Duties

· Support customer base by resolving questions, concerns, and technical issues, as well as handling customer inquiries and complaints which are escalated from other departments

· Ensure that customers are satisfied with the issue resolution as well as the resolution process itself

· Attempt to calm irate customers by explaining the situation while attempting to resolve the issue to the best of your abilities

· Analyze problems and make recommendations as to root causes and corrective actions

· Always maintain professionalism, tact, diplomacy, and sensitivity to portray the company in a positive manner

· Greet customers and discuss type, quality, and quantity of merchandise or services required

· Proactively attend to customer complaints in a professional manner

· Address and resolve customer inquiries regarding the status of orders and any payment, and refund errors in a timely manner

· Provide one-on-one end-user support and problem resolution via telephone, e-mail, and other vehicles of communication

· Respond to customer service calls in a courteous and professional manner

· Consult with customers after sale to resolve problems and to provide ongoing support

· Handle customer complaints as they arise, escalating to the appropriate individual as deemed necessary

· Maintain a high level of customer service

· Troubleshoot technical problems related to products and services

· Estimate or quote prices, credit or contract terms, warranties, and delivery dates

· Maintain a high level of product and service knowledge

Job Requirements

· Valid first aid or CPR certification

· Superior telephone manners and strong interpersonal skills

· Strong customer service and troubleshooting skills

· Self-motivation with high energy and an engaging level of enthusiasm

· Excellent customer service skills

· Ability to use computerized inventory system to locate goods/materials

· Ability to respond quickly in a dynamic and changing environment

· Ability to build and maintain lasting relationships with customers

· High school diploma, GED, or equivalent

· One year of customer service experience

· One year of Security Concierge experience or equivalent

· Ability to analyze and interpret the needs of clients and offer the appropriate options, solutions, and resolutions required

· Ability to quickly pick up new product and service knowledge, and communicate that knowledge effectively to customers

· Ability to deal with people sensitively, tactfully, diplomatically, and professionally at all times

· Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing

· Ability to prioritize and manage conflicting demands

· High flexibility with strong interpersonal skills that allow one to work effectively in a diverse environment

· Ability to work individually as well as part of a team

· Ability to adapt to new technology

Work Conditions

· Interaction with customers/clients, and the public at large

· Operation of desktop computer and peripherals

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Salary: $15.00-$16.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • 10 hour shift
  • 12 hour shift
  • 8 hour shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Toronto, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
