Responsibilities

• Greet customers as they arrive at the store/counter
• Listen to customers’ requirements closely and provide them with information on available pieces and sets.
• Show customers their desired pieces and provide information such as setting types, stones, and cuts.
• Provide customers with information on prices and any associated discounts or deals.
• Take customer's jewelry in for repairs
• Assist customers in making decisions to buy jewelry pieces or sets and suggest alternatives and complement pieces with clothes and other accessories.
• Lead customers through the buying process by boxing, wrapping, and bagging their purchases.
• Educate customers about warrantees and guarantees of sold pieces.
• Arrange window displays on a regular basis and ensure that all displays are properly locked and secured.
• Ensure that all pieces of jewelry are locked up in assigned storage palaces at the end of the day.
• Follow up with customers via email, text, or phone

Welcome to True Bijoux! We opened in 2006 as the sister store to Ottawa’s favourite independent high-end jeweler - Howard Fine Jewellers.

Owned and operated by The Jewelry Sisters, Lindsay and Stephanie Appotive.

We are committed to seeking out and offering our clients engagement rings, wedding rings, fine jewelry and fashion jewelry from Canada, the US and around the globe.

We offer various price points and styles, including vintage estate and pre-owned jewelry. There is indeed something for everyone here - our curated cache of beauty, fashion, contemporary and vintage jewelry is the ultimate jewelry box for particular women and men.

And if our clients want something unique, they can chat with our on-site designers and goldsmiths to create something just for them. Our team loves when our clients get involved in the process! We also offer restorations to antique pieces, alterations and repairs, plus restringing to all beaded jewelry. Everything is created and serviced in our on-site workshop by professional jewelers.
