Sales Associate

This position offers an opportunity to interact with both retail and contractor customers on a daily basis to help them find solutions to their renovation and home décor needs. With over 100,000 skus in our distribution centre we offer a huge range of products which creates an environment of continual learning. With constant online and on-the-job training, you will always be at the forefront of the industry acting as a do-it-yourself expert.

Responsibilities:

• Provide consultation and design inspiration services within the fashion plumbing & paint department

• Being a key contributor to the success of the department by working with management to redesign the showroom, and proposing new products to stock

• Providing a high level of customer service

• Special ordering non-stocked items from distribution or direct vendors

• Advising on a wide range of projects

• Occasional cashier duties

• Merchandising and stocking products

Qualifications:

• Have a basic knowledge on a variety of home improvement products/projects

• Good communication/interpersonal skills

• Excellent problem solving abilities

• Strong work ethic with a positive attitude and friendly demeanor

• Flexibility with scheduling and willing to work weekends and evening shifts

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Experience:
