Sales Analyst


LOCATION: Calgary, Alberta

DEPARTMENT: Commercial


Position Summary


Under the direction of the Sales Representative and Sub-Business Unit Director, the Sales Analyst coordinates main commercial-related aspects of the offering process, order follow up, invoicing, and post-sales activities for key accounts. They are also responsible for supporting Sub-Business Unit with demand forecasting and Digitalization projects.


Role and Responsibilities


  • Assists Sales Representatives with various steps in the offer process using SAP, Microsoft Dynamics and other internal systems.

  • Assists in the maintenance of the customer forecast working closely with Demand Planners and the Supply Chain team.

  • Coordinates sales and reports on accessories and associated services in support of our Rig Direct® business.

  • Prepares material for and participates in Customer Business Reviews.

  • Supports invoicing efforts including document management and payment follow-up in close coordination with the Sales Representatives and Supply Chain team members.

  • Organizes Digitalization efforts across the SubBU including customer configuration, training, follow-up, and troubleshooting system issues with IT.

  • Accountable for the follow up of deliveries for Back-to-Back sales.

Skills, Education and Experience


  • Minimum two-year diploma in engineering, business, or trade school

  • 0-5 years of experience in similar role

  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel

  • SAP experience would be considered an asset

  • Proven ability to provide excellent customer service

  • Previous experience working in forecasting and other sales related platforms will be considered an asset
