Wild Rows Pump & Compression is looking for a self-motivated, outgoing individual to join our team. The right candidate will oversee and complete the following key responsibilities:

· This position works proactively with managers to establish and maintain safe working culture and a safe work environment

· Support managers to maintain safe work practices and implement best practice, including providing specialist advice, coaching and practical support as needed

· Effectively communicate health and safety program requirements and initiatives to employees

· Work with key personnel to ensure that controls and procedures are maintained

· Provide support for incident and near-miss investigations

· Manage the input of data into the registries (ISNetworld, Comply Works & Enform etc.)

· Manage the tracking of safety tickets and company orientation requirement system(s)

· Conduct and/or coordinate annual Certificate of Recognition audit and identify opportunities for improvement

· Execute plans to drive HSE best practices and encourage managers and employees to adhere to company HSE guidelines and policies

· Update safe work procedures

· Develop and monitor HSE policies and procedures to ensure compliance with HSE government regulations and Client standards

· Manage GPS, Hours of Service and Company fleet requirements

· Provide new employee safety orientations

· Managing the workers’ compensation (WCB) claims process by liaising with WCB and ensuring timely reporting of workplace injuries or illnesses

· Assisting with the return-to-work process and overseeing modified work programs

· Ensure all HSE team members understand their roles and responsibilities.

Our ideal candidate will show:

• Demonstrated knowledge of environment, health and safety legislation, HSE Registry experience, National Safety Code requirements, as well as best industry practices
• Exceptional communication skills and proficient use of various office software programs will help ensure success in this role
• Current drivers’ license required (will be required to provide a current driver abstract)
• High level of personal accountability, honesty and integrity.
