This is a contract position for a Software Developer for our client who is in the Broader Public Sector. Work location will be in the GTA.

This is a hybrid role with 2-3 days onsite per week. This is a mandatory requirement of the role and is non negotiable outside of exceptional circumstances.

The Contract runs for one year.

Responsibilities
Required to translate technical systems specifications into working, tested applications. This includes:

developing detailed programming specifications

writing and/or generating code

compiling data-driven programs, maintaining, and conducting unit tests

Resolves and troubleshoots technical problems which arise during the use and operation of software packages, including technical assistance in implementation, conversion and migrations

Qualifications
Front END Developer only
Experience working with JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3
Experience with JavaScript frameworks such as React.js, Angular.js, & Vue and TypeScript
Experience in responsive design & progressive web applications
Experience working with API ‘s and API Gateways.
