You'll find the best selection of products in our Edmonton Duty Free stores, in categories such as cosmetics with make-up and fragrances, food items, and liquors. There are two Duty Free stores at Edmonton International Airport, located in the Departures terminal. You'll find our first store in the International Departures area, while our second tax free store is located in the USA Departures area. In both cases, you'll be able to enjoy the latest luxury brand items at value prices our unparalleled selection of premium local and global brands range from everyday cosmetics and confectionery to fine wine and local food, fragrances, rare whiskies, authentic Canadian souvenirs and high-end fashion.

• $300 Hiring Bonus for joining our team (Hiring Bonuses are taxable income and will be paid out in two increments: the first payment is provided after successful completion of 30 days and the second, final payment is provided upon completion of 90 days. Your Team is counting on you as a Sales Associate to:

• Work any day of the week, including weekends and holidays
• Work a shift of 4:00 am to 12:30 pm
• Work a full-time schedule
• Work in our Edmonton Duty Free Store

Sales Associate Key Accountabilities:

• Provide timely, welcoming, personal, professional, and consistent service to all customers that exceeds their expectations
• Assist customers with product/services selection and information
• Know individual and store sales targets for every working shift
• Maintain high energy and professional manner at all times
• Service multiple customers using outstanding customer service standards
• Responsible for name capture and customer relationship and after sales service
• Manage transactions at the cash register with accuracy and efficiency
• Communicate product knowledge to customers
• Participate and contribute in daily briefings, staff meetings
• Maintain the store, store organization, and visual display and store sets
• Keep inventory organization and integrity in transactions while displaying all current merchandise at all times
• Process product shipments and transfers
• Participate in and complete any product knowledge training
• Complete the Dufry +1 and Out in Front associate training certification program
• Assist in onboarding and training of new associates

Required Qualifications:

• Vehicle required due to shift times
• Comply with company dress code
• Exhibit passion and pride in every area of responsibility
• Ability to lift at least 40lbs/ 20kg
• Minimum 1 year of retail experience in high-end fashion retail
• High School Diploma or equivalent
