Habitat Restore is a social enterprise retailer that accepts and resells donations of new and used furniture, appliances, décor, and home improvement building materials. All profits from our operations fund Habitat for Humanity Peterborough & Kawartha Region's local affordable homebuilding efforts.

Job Responsibilities:

• Sales
• Product merchandising on the sales floor
• Cash
• Customer Service
• Warehousing
• Accepting donations from the public
• Processing donations and preparing them for resale
• Other duties as required

Hours:

• Part-time; 30 hours per week
• Day shift
• Must have flexible availability (ReStore is open Monday to Saturday 10-5 pm)

Location:

Peterborough North ReStore
300 Milroy Drive, Peterborough

Qualifications and Skills:

• Retail experience
• Great customer service skills
• Self-starter
• Reliable
• Energetic
• Friendly
• Multi-tasker
• Team player
• Ability to lift a minimum of 25 lbs often
• Capable of continuous standing, bending, and lifting
• Warehousing experience an asset
• Fully-vaccinated
• Acceptable criminal record check
