Access Rehab Inc, is a busy Multidisciplinary Rehabilitation and Assessment Centre with over 22 years of experience and dedication to providing outstanding health care services by qualified and experienced therapists and physicians. Access Rehab Inc is located in the York Major Medical Centre in Vaughan (McNaughton/Major Mackenzie) consisting of family physicians, walk in clinic doctors, pharmacy and other allied healthcare professions. We are currently hiring part time/ full-time registered physiotherapist. The treatment rooms are private and spacious within the medical clinic. The clinic admin staff and reception desk will answer phones, book appointments and collect payments. The clinic will provide all the necessary supplies.

The qualified applicant must have strong interpersonal communication and time management skills, must be a self-motivated and compassionate individual and capable of working independently in a team setting. The applicant must be a professional individual who is enthusiastic and committed to patient centered care for all patients. The successful candidate will provide Physiotherapy treatment to MVA, WSIB, Private Insurance and Extended Health Care patients.

The candidate will have experience in Cardiorespiratory Physiotherapy, Pelvic Health Physiotherapy and Cancer Rehabilitation.

Duties:

Provide assessment, diagnosis, treatment, health education and counselling for acute and chronic conditions

· Maintain a complete and accurate electronic record, effectively document each visit create SOAP notes, progress reports, discharge reports and treatment plans.

· Work with a multidisciplinary team to achieve optimum patient outcomes

Requirements:

· Able to work 9:00 to 6:00 pm on Tuesday and Thursdays and possibly Saturday
mornings.

· Candidate must be registered with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario.

· Experience working with Laser, shockwave, IFC and ultrasound

· Must have strong manual therapy skills

Job Types: Part-time, Freelance
Part-time hours: 20 per week

Salary: $45.00-$60.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Weekend availability

COVID-19 considerations:
During COVID-19 extensive safety protocols and procedure are in place to ensure the safety of our patients and employees by providing PPE, spacing of patient’s treatment times, screening test prior to entering the clinic and disinfecting the clinic

Licence/Certification:
