What We Offer

Broadmead Care is an exceptional employer with an amazing reputation. With five Care Homes located on Southern Vancouver Island, we offer generous wages, shift and weekend premiums, extended health benefits, generous vacation and statutory holiday bank allotments, and many other unique benefits such as our maternity/parental leave top-up. As a new employee, you may qualify for a signing bonus up to $3000 as well as relocation assistance if you accept a regular position with Broadmead Care.

Our auxiliary employees receive $0.80/hour to a maximum of $56.00/bi-weekly pay period in lieu of benefits and earn vacation pay at the rate of 6% of regular earnings paid on a bi-weekly basis. The sign-on bonus and relocation assistance is not available to auxiliary employees.

We are members of the BC Public Service Pension Plan that has transfer agreements with most provincial Public Service Pension Plans. Ask us about relocation assistance.

The Role

The RN/RPN provides and coordinates direct nursing care related to the safe care of clients and residents of the Broadmead Care. This includes providing clinical direction to the Health Care Workers, Licensed Practical Nurses and delivering direct care to residents, in accordance with the Professional Standards of Practice for Registered Nurses of BC and the Mission and Vision of Broadmead Care.

What You Bring

Along with your passion for exception care, you are:

· A graduate from a recognized nursing program

· Currently registered with BC College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM)

Experience with long-term care an asset. All employees must provide proof of a negative TB screen and proof of COVID-19 vaccination as a condition of employment.
