We are seeking a Registered Dental Hygienist to join our team at Blackfalds Dental Clinic in Blackfalds, Alberta.
Key Responsibilities
· Perform all aspects of clinical hygiene services including (but not limited to) scaling, root planning, polishing and topical fluoride.
· Understand how to case type patients based on clinical protocol.
· Act as an oral health educator, introducing clients to preventative techniques and guiding them as to good oral health habits.
· Establish strong patient relationships in a professional manner.
· Deliver a unique experience, personalized to each patient’s expectations and desired outcomes.
Position Requirements
· Completion of a Dental Hygiene Diploma or Degree program.
· Registered as a Dental Hygienist in the relevant province of occupation.
· Strong verbal and written communication skills.
· Ability to multi-task and organize a fast-paced daily schedule.
· Demonstrated experience working independently within a multi-disciplinary team environment.
· Proficient computer skills including practice management software and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) would be considered an asset.
