Are you a refrigeration technician or apprentice experienced in fixing self-contained units?
Ancaster Food Equipment is Canada’s largest supplier of remanufactured True Glass Door Freezers and Coolers! We have over 30 years experience in the business and a combined workforce experience of over 100 years in rebuilding True Glass Door Freezers & Coolers!
Our cooler and freezer merchandisers are sold to customers across Canada and the US to the likes of Dairy Queen, Pet Valu, Global Pet Food, Tim Hortons and thousands of small businesses.
Candidates would be working alongside our 313a journeymen to refurbish self-contained commercial refrigeration units.
Benefits paid in full by the company after 3 months employment. Hours are 8am to 4pm (or 7am to 3pm) Monday through Friday at our Brantford, ON warehouse. Additional overtime may be available.
Some of the specific job duties include:
- Troubleshoot commercial coolers and freezers
- Change compressors, fan motors, defrost heaters, etc
- Install LED lights and update electrical
- Charge and discharge refrigerant
Skills and Experience Required:
- Previous work experience or pre-apprenticeship program
- Eligible to work in Canada
- Strong work ethic & attention to detail
