Job title: Reconciliation Analyst

About the role:

We are seeking a Reconciliation Analyst to join our lean and innovative consultancy.

We are a small consultancy providing Finance and Accounting support and Reconciliation Services to a number of B2B and B2C brands in the digital space. These services mainly support customer payments at high volume.

The successful candidate will join our reconciliation team and will be responsible for the daily/monthly reports of bank reconciliation with high volume transactions.

Opportunities to become Financial analyst

Responsibilities:

· Perform weekly and monthly accounting tasks and reconciliation of various AR/AP account transactions

· Provide weekly/monthly Journal Entries

· Perform verification of input documentation from multiple sources

· Process, verify and reconcile high volume transactions of complex nature

· Maintain appropriate files, working papers, reports and documentation of data

· Identify and investigate unreconciled transactions and provide solutions

· Communicate observations on internal and external errors and provide practical solutions

· Adapt to constant changes and improve on current existing procedures to keep track of reconciliation

· Participate in ad hoc projects and support managers as needed

Requirements:

· Strong Excel skills

· Experience in a similar post is a great asset

· University degree in accounting/finance or in a process of acquiring

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills

· A high degree of accuracy with great attention to detail

· Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

· Ability to multitask, to manage priority and to meet deadlines

· Dedicated and enthusiastic

· Be able to work independently and be self-motivated

· Strong command of English

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $50,000.00 per year
