Schedule: 20 hours per week

Location: Toronto - 305 Milner avenue (open to work remotely)

Type of employment: Internship - 6 month contract

The main objective of the Real Estate Intern is to assist the Real Estate team in acquiring and entitling locations for Circle K. The Real Estate Intern’s work may include various types of research, proforma modeling, generation of approval packages, and other administrative support. The Real Estate Intern will gain valuable insight in to a large, multinational company and its industry, along with its development processes, including site selection criteria, real estate valuation, financial modeling, internal approvals, and governmental entitlements. This position will be based out of Toronto, Canada.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

• Should be a Junior or Senior, enrolled full time in a university program with an emphasis in Real Estate, Finance, Urban Planning, or a related field.

• Understand Microsoft Office products and can learn new software applications including Demographics and Project Management packages.

• Possess good organizational skills and be able to manage several responsibilities concurrently.

• Manage deadlines while maintaining a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.

• Have well developed verbal and written communication skills as well as good interpersonal skills.

• Be available to work 20 hours per week.

• Bilingualism is an asset.
