Registered Psychologist
We are looking for a Registered Psychologist to join our highly skilled team in Kelowna and Lake Country, BC. Diversified Rehabilitation Group is a dynamic team of clinical disciplines and return-to-work professionals. This position involves treatment and assessment work.
Duties:
As a psychologist you will:
· Conduct a variety of psychological assessments, including Vocational Psychological Assessments, to adults with a range of physical, mental health, and cognitive disabilities.
· Provide psychological treatment to adults with anxiety, depression and posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and other trauma-related disorders.
· Conduct clinical interviews, administer and interpret psychological instruments, write comprehensive reports, and participate in feedback sessions with clients and return-to-work professionals.
The Psychologist must be trained in and have experience with evidence-based treatment for anxiety, depression and PTSD, such as exposure-based CBT modalities and EMDR.
Education and Qualifications:
· Doctoral Degree (preferred)
· One (1) year direct, clinical experience performing diagnostic assessment and treatment of adults in a mental health setting including risk assessment, cognitive behavioral therapy or other relevant assessment and treatment modalities.
· Must be registered or eligible for registration with the College of Psychologists of British Columbia.
· Good computer, organizational and writing skills are essential.
· Experience working with third-party payers and an understanding rehabilitation and return-to-work issues are an asset.
· Own vehicle.
· Valid BC driver's license.
· Criminal record check.
