Shazach is a private real estate development company with a brand-new office in the @Venture building in Gibsons, B.C. As the Property Manager you will manage the day-to-day administration of a growing portfolio of residential and commercial properties, ensuring properties are managed and maintained to the highest standard. You will need to be a well-organized, detail-oriented, self-starter who enjoys and excels in all aspects of property management.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

Preparation and day-to-day management of Residential and Commercial leases including liaising with clients and tenants for

  • day to day needs
  • new tenancies
  • end of tenancies

Maintain

  • property management software
  • property websites
  • records and documentation for Buildings, Units, Tenants, and Vendor contracts
  • building and liability insurance

Advertise rental properties

Manage keys, fob’s, access cards and related items

Organize property maintenance and inspections

Tracking key property data (site plans, surveys, unit specs, property tax)

Managing tenant surveys to analyze trends and feedback

  • Provide accounting support to bookkeeper
  • Review and approval of vendor invoices
  • Respond to vendor inquiries as needed
  • Updating current rent and fee payments
  • Preparing current and projected rent rolls and expenses

Qualifications:

Experience in real estate property management (2-3 years) an asset

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Advanced computer skills as well as proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite

Strong organizational skills, ability to adapt to multiple demands, set priorities and achieve results on a timely basis

Analytical thinker and ability to readily grasp new concepts and adapt to a fast paced, ever-changing environment

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $50,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
