Summary of Duties

Supervise Production Line Operation in accordance with Plas Tech Extrusions Ltd.’s Policies and Procedures. Ensure efficient production operation during shift.

- Attend scheduled shifts on regular basis.

- Ensure you have all required tools necessary for operation (safety boots; eye protection; pen; marker; utility knife; gloves; measuring tape; etc.).

- Supervise Production Line Operation in accordance with Company’s Policies and Procedures.

- Train and coach Production Line Employees.

- Conduct Employee Performance Reviews; when required.

- Responsible to ensure work station assignments / rotation; Employee training; Employee breaks; and conduct daily attendance check of required Employees.

- Coordinate production start-ups; shut-downs; trouble shooting; changeovers; and die tests.

- Coordinate with Human Resources for appropriate staffing levels.

- Attend all required staff meetings.

- Responsible for Quality Control; make adjustments as required during shift to produce product within specifications; reject product outside of speculations.

- Operate within Standard Operating Procedures.

- Communicate with Production Scheduler; Management; and other Shift Supervisors.

- Ensure a clean and safe work environment.

- Complete all required shift paper work.

- Assist in production; if required.

- Ensure extruder hopper has sufficient amount of material at all times.

- Assemble boxes for the packaging of product.

- Package finished product in compliance to Customer’s requirements (labels, spooling and correct amount pieces of product per box).

- Grind any scrap material in the proper grinder.

- Other safe duties assigned by Plas Tech Extrusions Ltd.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $30.00-$40.00 per hour

• Supervision of Profile Plastic Extrusion Manufacturing: 5 years (preferred)
• Forklift: 3 years (preferred)
