Product Manager - Vancouver, BC

The Product Development Team sits at the middle of stakeholders across the company, and is tasked with one seemingly simple, but very difficult to achieve, mission: deliver a great product that meets customer use cases and works toward the product vision. The team is responsible for product strategy, concept development, and defining and executing these initiatives in collaboration with our key stakeholders and partners. We specialize in translating high level ideas and requests that come from multiple groups into concrete features to be implemented by our development teams.

What will the work and team be like?

As a Product Manager, you'll work on a product team that drives many aspects of Envisio's core business, talking to various stakeholders and facilitating cross-team and cross-departmental collaboration to help everyone work toward unified goals. The environment is both fast-paced and fun. You will work on a cross-functional team that encompasses product management, product ownership, business analysis, UX design, full-stack development, and QA roles/responsibilities.

In this role you will:

• Partner with the Chief Product Officer and internal teams to address complex business questions and provide insightful analysis and strategic recommendations through strong storytelling capabilities to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Conduct detailed analysis to support feature development
• Hold discovery sessions with internal and external stakeholders to identify use cases and scope features for a given release cycle
• Triage backlog of incoming requests to prioritize quick wins and other features to manage stakeholder expectations
• Collaborate with development team, VP of Engineering and Chief Product Officer during feature development to answer questions
• Identify potential delivery risks and create strategies for contingency planning and risk mitigation
• Run major initiatives to support full adoption of our new product by existing customers
• Develop internal content and demonstrations on product features to educate internal and external audiences on the value of upcoming features and products
• Do a number of other things as needed to help satisfy our department's primary objective of building a great product
• Analyze and manage ongoing product enhancements support when needed

Great candidates have:

• 2+ years of experience as a member of a product development organization
• Previously worked in a startup environment with a small close-knit team
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical staff at all levels of the organization
• Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on teamwork and the ability to foster/maintain relationships internally and externally
• The ability to self-direct yourself and work well in a fluid, fast-paced environment
• A keen eye for detail
• Strong analytical aptitude
• High level of professionalism
• The ability to organize and synthesize a large volume of information

If you have some of the following, that's even better:

• Experience working for a B2B/B2G Enterprise Software organization
• Experience facilitating communication and collaboration between multiple groups
• Experience making compromises based off a combination of data and intuition
• Strong visual communication skills

Location:

This role is based out of Vancouver, BC. Envisio allows for flexible work arrangements, such as working from home, although we do have a physical office as well.
