WHAT TO EXPECT

Do you want to join a manufacturing engineering team and take on the small and large process challenges that await you in an atmosphere focused on collaboration and innovation?

Our position is definitely for you. You will be responsible for the control and continuous improvement of current and future rubber part forming processes. You will coordinate the work of process technicians to improve the performance of production processes (scrap, repair, yield, etc.) while helping to reduce product costs.

Here's an overview of your tasks:

• Collaborate in defining and implementing efficient manufacturing methods
• Ensure the development of new forming recipes to support new product development, optimize manufacturing and improve product quality
• Be a technical reference for the molding and shaping of rubber products and support the engineering department
• Coordinate, support and control the work of the process technicians
• Support the production and quality team in the management of failures
• Take charge of investigations/projects in order to identify the root causes of issues and recommend corrective measures to eliminate the problems
• Responsible for performing risk analysis (PFMEA) prior to introducing new recipes into production
• Ensure the maintenance, update and continuous improvement of the documentation associated with the process in compliance with the quality management system
• Collaborate in the training of employees

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

• Bachelor's degree in chemical or mechanical engineering or similar
• 3 to 10 years of experience in similar functions
• Good knowledge of quality management tools
• Knowledge of statistical control and process instrumentation
• Good analytical and observation skills
• Ability to direct projects and manage several projects simultaneously under tight deadlines
