Job Description

• Process price changes on a daily basis throughout the store; ensuring that the correct signage is on display and items are scanning at the correct price for customers to purchase

• Ensure pricing is accurate and updated to reflect promotions listed in the weekly promotional store flyers

• Provide customers with information on unique store offerings, sale items and upsell

• Provide store management with feedback from customers

• Perform Cashier duties as required; scan, process and bag customer orders. Handle cash and EFT transactions with accuracy

• Perform general administrative duties for the Pricing department, such as: filing, data entry, records maintenance, reporting, etc.

• Additional duties as required

Job Requirements

• 2-5 years+ experience working in a grocery store environment is required. Familiar with a wide range of products

• Experience in an administrative and operations position

• Able to efficiently differentiate product based on brand, size, upc, etc.

• Experience using a CRM or ERP tool is required along with proficient MS Office skills. Must be technologically savvy and able to learn new systems quickly

• Excellent customer service and communication skills; verbal and written

• Accurate, detail-orientated, analytical, driven and cost conscious

• Knowledgeable in Smart Serve guidelines when processing the sale of alcohol
