Physician Consultant - Occupational Health

Currently we have an opportunity for a Physician Consultant to join our team in Edmonton, Alberta. The ideal candidate enjoys developing rapport with clients. You are confident about your competency in clinical evaluation and documentation with good writing skills. Location: 114 Empire Ave, St. John's, NL A1C 3G2
Start Date: ASAP
Position: Casual/Part-Time
As part of our team you will share in our success with facilitating client recovery and employee wellness. You would participate in:
- Completion of employment medicals to ensure safety for work
- Provide second medical opinions to clarify diagnosis and specify rehabilitation recommendations.
- Deliver medical examinations within an interdisciplinary team framework
Qualifications:
- Doctor of Medicine, licensed to practice in NL
- In good standing with the College of Physicians & Surgeons of Newfoundland and Labrador
- Current personal liability & malpractice insurance
- 5 years' experience as a treating Physician
- Completion of courses in Occupational Medicine is considered an asset
- Experience completing employment medicals or second medical opinions would be considered a valuable asset.
