What you will do…

You will be part of a vibrant team that provides a safe, supportive and motivating environment for adults to achieve their health and fitness goals. You will help to develop and deliver quality exercise and education programs for healthy members and members who may be inactive and/or dealing with chronic health conditions. You will support members one on one as a Personal Trainer, prescribing exercise based on individual needs.
As an adult program staff you may be given the opportunity to work the fitness centre floor to build your clientele. Some of the responsibilities include booking new member orientations, building relationships with members, giving free demos and tidying up the fitness centre spaces. Flexible hours – days, evenings and weekends required.

What you will bring…

  • Personal Training Certification
  • Group Fitness Certification an asset
  • First Aid/CPR- C

A proven track record of interpersonal and relationship building skills with the ability to establish rapport and excellent communication with staff, volunteers and clients. An acceptable police record check will also be required upon hire.
