Part time French Tutor / Teacher Job at Oxford Learning Beaumont
Oxford Learning in Beaumont requires knowledgeable teachers who have a strong background in oral and written French. Candidates must possess a passion for seeing students succeed and must be comfortable teaching students from Grades K-9.
Beaumont is located 7 minutes southeast of Edmonton. All instruction is done at our centre and WE provide the curriculum.
A great candidate for this position will possess the following skills:
- Bachelor’s Degree, similar qualifications, or university students with tutoring experience
- Able to assist students with school Math up to Grade 7
- Classroom and/or tutoring experience is an asset
- Must be fluent in French as you will be instructing in French
- Strong French and English written and oral communication skills
- Willing to learn new skills and teaching strategies
- Strong motivational skills and an ability to keep students on task
- Dynamic, energetic, and have a good personality
- Highly organized and able to multitask
We ask that interested candidates be available a minimum of 2 evenings a week (3:15-7:30pm).
