New store owners in Summerland Home Hardware!!
We are looking for an Operations Manager.
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide guidance and supervision for a small team of Staff Members .
Establish weekly work schedules for all staff members
Maintain all store operations and maintain communication between employees and owner(s).
Be responsive to employees who have questions and/or comments about their job responsibilities.
Maintain inventory, receiving, promotions and merchandising of products.
Maintain good customer service through your presence on the sales floor and assist store staff in resolving any customer issues.
EDUCATION/SKILLS REQUIRED
- 5+ years of prior retail experience beneficial.
- Experience in a Home Hardware setting would be ideal working with the Prism and Home info systems.
- Basic knowledge in computer and POS systems
- Ability to lead and work in team setting
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including some weekends and holidays.
- Willingness to continually develop professional skills and knowledge base.
