The Operations Manager makes an impact on people's lives and work with like- minded people who share the same passion. You will lead the operations of 3 sectors of our company: Production Plant, Restaurant & Farmers Markets/Events by creating and supporting growth initiatives. In this role you will be responsible for the operational effectiveness across the entire organization with focus on the leadership team and managers. You will be expected to implement thorough processes and/or systems that enable the company and individual team members to grow, be more productive and achieve their goals successfully. It offers an opportunity to innovate on a daily basis by constantly thinking out of the box. This position thrives in an environment where you get to wear many hats and work on a variety of things by adapting yourself quickly to changing situations.

Responsibilities include:

  • Monitor and allocate entries to the correct accounts.
  • Champion the development, refinement, documentation, communication of company processes and procedures ensuring enforceable policies with clearly identified accountability.
  • Monitor and control profitability and budgeting. Bring up to CEO any situation in which numbers are behaving not accordingly or about to move to a wrong direction.
  • Prepare various analysis and financial strategies to assist with the growth of the company.
  • Create accurate and insightful reports on a timely manner.
  • Monitor cash flow in the company ensuring that there is no money missing. Keep honesty and integrity as highest values as a professional.
  • Influence all aspects of performance management including staffing decisions, goal setting, development planning, performance evaluations, performance improvement, motivation and recognition.
  • Ensure recruitment pipeline is meeting needs and hiring the right people for the right vacancies. Work with HR to develop career paths and incentives to keep employees motivated and dedicated.
  • Coordinate with different teams to nourish exchange of ideas, strategy and provide cross-team learning opportunities.
  • Provide strong, dynamic leadership that mentors, develops, and guides team members to efficiently drive the day-to-day operations.
  • Build and promote relationships that accelerate the cultural mandate of the company and drive leadership to new heights of capability.
  • Work with team leaders to define, track, and report monthly, quarterly and annual objectives and metrics in an organized and digestible way.

Qualifications required for the positions:

  • Diploma or Degree in Business Administration or similar field.
  • The ability to converse and read in French and/or Spanish are an asset.
  • Basic knowledge with delivery platforms and debit machines.
  • 3+ year of proven experience as Operations Manager or similar role.
  • Experience with ERP, QuickBooks and POS systems.
  • Experienced in growing teams & managing people.
  • Highly analytical, structured and committed to a data driven approach.
  • Experienced in hospitality and manufacturing businesses are an asset.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $85,000.00-$100,000.00 per year
