What you'll do:

Support the Operations and Communications Managers, with a focus on supporting the day-to-day needs of 200+ SportChek and Atmosphere stores. You will be responsible for supporting the efforts to bring Jumpstart and community engagement initiatives to life in stores as well as in the office, creating and maintaining in-store signage and process documents, and fulfilling the daily needs of business partners across all departments.

  • Identify key moments and support in store fundraising and community building events for 200+ SportChek and Atmosphere stores across Canada, supporting corporate-wide fundraising campaigns and execution of events
  • Collaborate with business partners to maximize ROI, report on event results and key metrics
  • Maintain and distribute merchandise, prizing and fundraising inventory
  • Update and maintain in-store assets such as signage and process documents
  • Coordinate orders for business partners
  • Support the creation and execution of contracts
  • Facilitate the creation of in-store signage and promotional documentation
  • Support the deployment of internal communications
  • Vet and support internal sponsorship applicants
  • Be an active member of internal event committees

What you bring:

  • Currently enrolled in a Post-secondary program in Communications, Business, Marketing, or a related discipline.
  • Developed an ability to handle multiple priorities and maintain professionalism in rapidly changing situations.
  • Spent time engaging and maintaining relationships with business and event stakeholders.
  • Exceptional communication skills with the confidence and passion to share knowledge
  • Previous corporate/co-op experience an asset
  • Previous retail experience an asset
