Operations accountant
Roga Group of companies is looking for an operations accountant. Our head office is in Kamloops and manages administration services for our locations throughout B.C. The operations accountant reports directly to the controller.
The operations accountant supports the operations manager, supervisors and crew for our logging, road building and construction operations. Duties include:
- Hourly and salary payroll processing and payment.
- Payroll tax compliance, filing and payments.
- Employee & contractor benefits management.
- Log delivery tracking, analysis, and forecasting.
- Subcontractor management including contract management, payment calculations and processing, and financial evaluation.
- Supporting AP, AR, and financial accountants.
- Managing transactions between the various operations within the group.
The ideal candidate will be interested in enrolling or currently enrolled in the CPA program. Roga Group employs 4 experienced CPAs to mentor students through the program.
Other experience and skills would be considered an asset:
· End to end payroll administration.
· Experience in the logging or construction industries.
· Post-secondary or other formal education in accounting & finance.

Salary: $60,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
