Your Responsibilities

  • Perform administrative duties on behalf of the branch primarily related to the functional role of Accounts Payable (Cost Codes/GL Accounts)
  • Update and/or correct vendor / subcontractor account information
  • Respond to vendor inquiries and/or redirect to appropriate department
  • Liaise with Purchasing to ensure accuracy of invoicing and posting/ payment thereof
  • Provide job cost information to internal departments as required
  • Perform administrative tasks associated with the processing of internal payroll documents as required
  • Prepare various reports as required
  • Perform general office administrative duties as assigned

Your Qualifications

  • A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
  • Experience in managing accounts payable / receivable and exposure to payroll /job costing experience
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills and proven ability to establish rapport and maintain relationships
  • Demonstrated ability to adhere to deadlines and achieve goals and objectives
  • Proven ability to work in a fast paced, high-volume environment, coupled by the ability to work collaboratively on a timely basis
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Must be proficient in excel and data entry
  • Post secondary education in administrative/finance/accounting field would be considered an asset
  • Resourceful, self motivated and able to network within the organization to determine best practices
  • Ability to multi-task, organize and manage competing priorities
  • Other duties as assigned
