We are currently seeking Occupational Therapists to provide in-home assessment and consultation services in Kawartha Lakes and Peterborough/Northumberland County.

Kawartha Therapy Services Inc. is a CARF-accredited (since 2013) Occupational Therapist-owned and operated company providing community-based rehabilitation services since 1992. Our Community Occupational Therapists provide assessment, treatment and consultation services to individuals in their homes. We pride ourselves on being client-centered, passionate about our professions and offering excellent service. We have an enthusiastic, growing team of wonderful therapists!

We are currently seeking full-time, part-time or casual Occupational Therapists for the following service areas:

• Kawartha Lakes (any of Kirkfield, Bolsover, Sebright, Woodville, Norland and surrounding)
• Haliburton (any of Cardiff, Wilberforce, Gooderham, Haliburton, Eagle Lake, Highland Grove, Minden)
• Peterborough/Northumberland county (any or all of Millbrook, Cavan, Bethany, Pontypool, Janetville, Bailieboro, Bewdley)

Qualifications required:

• Be comfortable working in the independent, flexible environment of home and community care
• Must have strong oral and written communication skills and the ability to work individually and as part of a team
• Possess excellent organizational skills
• Possess a valid Driver’s License and reliable vehicle for home visiting
• Have the ability to work from home office, and have access to a cell phone, tablet and/or laptop for electronic charting purposes

Successful candidates will be registered and in good standing with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario. ADP Authorizer status is preferred but not required. Experience in a variety of settings would be an asset. New grads welcome to apply!
