HelloMD is a 7-year old, national, Telehealth provider focused on medical cannabis.
We are actively seeking nurse practitioners with experience in medical cannabis to evaluate and advise our patients in Ontario, Canada. Patients use our Telehealth platform (over live video or phone, at pre-specified times) to consult with practitioners about medical cannabis and whether it’s right for them.
The only requirement is the consult itself; the platform and support team do the rest (e.g., scheduling, paperwork). We provide live support daily to patients and practitioners.
Job Description
This is a remote, part-time, telemedicine position
- Hours are flexible – we seek at least 9 hours/week (shifts are 3 hours; hours of operation: 11:00am-8:00pm EST Monday-Friday; 9:00am-12:00pm Sat-Sun)
- Consult with patients over live video or phone to determine whether they qualify for medical cannabis and issue authorizations to those who do
- Provide patients with information on dosing and treatment plan, as appropriate
Minimum Requirements
- Certified as a Nurse Practitioner in the Province of Ontario, Canada; hold a valid license in good standing without restrictions.
- Must have completed the Prescribing Narcotics and Controlled Substances (CPD) course
- Prior experience prescribing medical cannabis
