Multi Skilled Worker
Location: Sandringham Care Home, 1650 Fort Street, Victoria, BC
Status: Casual
- (Base 15.65hr + 7.73/hr SSO wage)
- *Single Site Order (SSO) is subject to the direction of government and may be discontinued at any time
Important Information: Housekeeping experience is required, more hours are available if open to cross training in Laundry and as a Dietary Aide
Shifts: 7:30am - 4:00pm & 11:30am - 7:00pm

Job Summary
How you will make an impact:
You will be responsible for supporting our daily operations with a wide range of tasks such as cleaning, food preparation, serving meals, and dishwashing.
As a Multi Skilled Worker, you will:
- Perform housekeeping duties such as maintaining the cleanliness of residents’ rooms and common areas.
- Assist with food preparation, set up and cleanup of chairs & tables, serving meals, delivering trays to residents, dishwashing and maintaining cleanliness of the kitchen.
- Perform duties according to health & safety guidelines, report all injuries and hazards to the supervisor immediately and other reasonable requests from management
About you:
- You must have a valid Food Handler Certificate or provincial equivalent
- Previous housekeeping and food services experience is an asset
- Previous experience in the healthcare environment or long-term care setting is preferred
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Good command of English language, both verbal and written and ability to follow written and verbal instructions
