Mill Services Utilityperson Job at Teck Resources Limited

Reporting to the Mill Operations Supervisor, the Mill Services Utilityperson is responsible for general labour duties in the mill.

Responsibilities:
Be a courageous safety leader, adhere to and sponsor safety and environmental rules and procedures- Work as the Mill general labourer, managing various duties as needed
- Complete work indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions
- Handle all tasks in a safe and efficient manner, looking out for hazards such as heavy lifting, trips and slips
- Various other job duties as asked by supervisor
Qualifications:
Completion of grade 12 or equivalent- Effective written and verbal communication and strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a high performance, fast-paced team environment
- Ability to adapt to and work effectively within a constantly changing environment
- Valid driver’s license
- Strong organization skills
- Previous equipment operation or industrial experience is an asset
