Modern Edge Industry's is a welding and fabrication company based out of Langford BC specializing in high end interior and exterior metal work. The successful applicant will join an exciting and positive team, with a great working environment and high safety standard.

This position is responsible for following detailed shop drawings to fabricate all required components ranging from, interior/exterior railings, driveway gates, interior metal decor, staircases, docks and ramps.

Shift: Full-time 40hrs / week, M-F, 7:30-4

Qualifications:

This postion is for a metal Fabricator welding skills are a bonus.

Fabrication experience, Red seal or 3rd year required.

Hands on welding and fabrication shop experience,

Extensive use of various power tools, grinders, sanders, bandsaws, iron workers, forklift.
Proven attendance and safety record.

Attention to fabrication detail and quality.

Reading and following drawings and blueprints.

Organized, self-starting, proactive get-the-job-done-right attitude, no short cuts.

Leadership.

Able to keep daily notes and records.

Ability to coordinate projects, prioritize and meet deadlines.

High degree of ownership for work area, tools and equipment;

High degree of responsibility for meeting production schedules and maintaining quality;

The starting wage depends on experience.
