PROMAN Canada is looking for a full-time mechanic for an industrial cleaning company located in Sarnia, ON.
Position available to start as soon as possible.
Responsibilities:
This job’s main objective is to ensure the maintenance and repair of the equipment (trucks and trailers). It involves both preventive maintenance as well as reactive maintenance in case of mechanical issues with the equipment.
The main tasks are the following:
- Carry out the general maintenance of the company’s vehicles;
- Repair the diesel mechanical systems, the hydraulic and electric systems as well as the air systems;
- Perform inspection and mechanical checks on the trucks;
- Perform a variety of welding tasks (design, assembly, repair and fabrication);
- Complete the work orders on a daily basis;
- Carry out the troubleshooting on the road (road service)
Profile:
- English-speaking;
- Past mechanical education;
- 2 years of experience in a similar position;
- Ability to carry out welding tasks;
- Being multitask, autonomous and able to work in a team;
- Health and safety awareness;
- A personal toolbox will be considered an asset
Schedule:
- Full time Monday to Friday
- 7AM to 3PM-3:30PM
Salary: $29 per hour
