Manufacturing Manager

Description

Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate the Production operations of Famti manufacturing establishment , under the direction of Head Operations.

Job duties

  • Support erection , commissioning and start up of 1 Metallizer unit and 3 Slitters .
  • Develop and implement plans to efficiently use materials, labour and equipment to meet production targets
  • Plan and manage the establishment of departmental budget
  • Develop production schedules and maintain an inventory of raw materials and finished products
  • Plan and implement changes to machinery and equipment, production systems and methods of work
  • Direct quality control inspection system and develop production reporting procedures
  • Develop equipment maintenance schedules and recommend the replacement of machines
  • Supervise and train employees in the use of new equipment or production techniques.

Skills/Qualifications

  • Proven operational and manufacturing experience in CPG industry with experience in TPM- Total productive maintenance, 5S, Lean, 6 Sigma tools and concepts.
  • Strong coaching and leadership skills in a team-based environment.
  • Maintain effective communication with all personnel and departments.
  • Being a team player with ability and willingness to learn from working as a hands-on member of a team
  • Effective problem-solving skills, results oriented
  • Able to remain focused while working in stressful situation

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Electrical or Electronics .
  • Minimum 10 years of experience within a manufacturing environment, in erection as well as operations involving Metallizers (BOBST preferred) as well as Slitters.
  • Proven ability to provide technical support to clients for existing as well as new products development.

Working Conditions

  • Physical-Continuously standing or walking. Lifting moderate weights occasionally.
  • Mental Stress- Continuous requirement for decisive action. A firm and resolute attitude is required, especially with respect to the enforcement of and adherence to departmental operating procedures.

Salary: From $45.00 per hour
