Essential Duties:

  • Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and implement human resources strategies that align with business objectives.
  • Manages and advises on recruitment strategies and processes and supports solutions toward achieving business objectives.
  • Analyze market and industry compensation and benefits practices to establish competitive programs that will enable the business to hire strong talent, retain, and build a culture that motivates employees.
  • Liaise between management and employees by responding to questions and interpreting and administering policies, procedures, and legislation.
  • Manage the day-to-day human resources operations, programs, and processes.
  • Conduct thorough and objective workplace investigations, document results, recommend corrective action, and ensure appropriate follow-up with all stakeholders.
  • Responsible for supporting, engaging in, and completing human resource audits including actioning the outcome and opportunities for improvement.
  • Build, maintain, and oversee effective performance management processes and provide guidance to the management team which minimizes turnover.
  • Leverage workforce data to formulate talent insights and to provide senior leadership with relevant information and recommendations to support the organizational strategy.
  • Define, implement and manage employee development, career pathing, and succession programs that align with business strategy, provide for talent growth, an efficient workforce, and high-performing teams.
  • Implement or update company policies and procedures to ensure compliance.
  • Compile statistical reports and metrics in support of or for the improvement of HR and business objectives.
  • Responsible for health and safety initiatives in the organization.
  • Well networked and knowledgeable with a diverse HR skill set in order to monitor the environment and best practices to offer innovation and timely solutions for the organization.
  • Other duties as required.

Qualifications:

  • 5-10 years as a Business Partner or Manager is required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management or equivalent, if preferred.
  • CPHR designated or working towards designation is preferred.
  • Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office (Word/Excel).
  • Experience working in UKG, is an asset.
  • Fluent in English with proven skills in verbal and written communication.
