Manager - Enterprise Architecture – Permanent Role On behalf of our client in the Automotive Sector, PROCOM is looking for a Manager - Enterprise Architecture Manager - Enterprise Architecture – Job Description
  • Strategy and Budget
  • Contributes to the IT Strategy and the development of the annual information technology budget
  • Identifies solutions roadmap and technologies to ensure that the company remains current and recommends new technologies to deliver operational excellence, financial performance, and competitive edge
  • Stays current with industry trends, advises and educates management on the importance and impact of these trends
  • Provides input to the budgeting, forecasting and operations of Systems
  • Architecture, Integration and Data
  • Develops the overall Enterprise Architecture and ensures business strategy alignment.
  • Conducts technical research and technical proof of concepts to meet existing and future business needs
  • Maintains the Technology Strategy and Roadmap in collaboration with Systems and the Business
  • Understands and synthesizes active projects, technology decisions and current IT roadmap to a cohesive plan and direction
  • Provides guidance on how to address business requirements via a technical solution
  • Navigates successfully through areas of technology-related conflict as they arise to achieve effective business-focused outcomes
  • Builds effective relationships with functional leaders / product owners to inform their thinking and decision making around technology
  • Develops a blueprint for deploying individual solutions that align with the overall Enterprise Architecture
  • Works with vendors to develop, review and approve the solution architecture
  • Supports the implementation of the integration and solution architecture
  • Creates models/component and interface specification documents
  • Assists in the design of configurations, extensions, integrations and customizations
  • Defines the enterprise data architecture, data management governance and practices and owns the end-to-end data lifecycle
  • Assesses the “As-is” business models and data models for existing services and identifies gaps to the “To-be” architecture
  • Product Development and Delivery
  • Coordinates with vendors and third-party’s product development teams with respect to architecture and integration standards
  • Validates the solution architecture against requirements and assumptions
  • Supports the development effort of internal supported solutions
  • Collaborates with product team, infosec, technical resources and external architects to create secure, reliable, scalable software solutions
  • Works with vendors and partners for the successful implementation of all software products
  • Acts as a proponent of modern software development practices including Agile
  • Support/Vendor Management
  • Leads the architecture team and works closely with other IT team members to support the achievement of internal business SLAs
  • Develops and implements uniform architecture standards/practices and ensures the necessary information security policies and procedures are in place to minimize risks
  • People Development
  • Recruits, leads and develops a team of IT professionals, provide ongoing coaching and mentoring to maximize their performance
  • Provides leadership, direction and coaching to staff and associates, and creates an environment that inspires and delivers peak performance and superior results
  • Provides technical leadership for all business solution-related initiatives and serves as a technical resource to other departments regarding technology needs
Manager - Enterprise Architecture – Mandatory Skills
  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field required
  • 10 to 12 years of IT Management and/or IT experience required
  • 5+ years of experience in Enterprise/Solution Architecture with a solid foundation in the different architectural dimensions (Business, Application, Data and Technology Architectures)
  • 5+ years of experience in at least three disciplines, such as application development, middleware, information analysis, database management or operations in a multitier environment
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in Enterprise Architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF) and modeling notations (e.g., ArchiMate, BPMN, ARIS method)
  • Demonstrated experience of various Cloud platforms and technologies, industry trends and solutioning experience in Public, Hybrid Cloud and PaaS
  • Demonstrated experience in enterprise level integration architectures (e.g., involving APIs, Middleware, ESBs, etc.)
  • Strong business and financial acumen required
  • Proven ability to effectively prioritize and participate in and/or lead multiple projects, activities and/or tasks in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment is required
  • Superior analytical, problem solving, critical thinking and decision-making skills required
  • Experienced implementing one or more of the following enterprise systems: financial, CRM, document management systems
  • Deep understanding of enterprise IT architecture (application and infrastructure), business architecture governance, data architecture governance, and SLDC/project/solution governance
  • Excellent communication (verbal and written), interpersonal, presentation, customer service and relationship building skills required
  • Proven track record in working with external consultants, senior business leaders, internal stakeholders and external vendors required; demonstrated abilities in partnering with the business and leading change execution
  • Skilled at teamwork, communication (verbal and written), innovation, adaptability, and decision making, along with a customer focus, results orientation, and business sense
  • Must have flexibility to work outside of regular business hours if/when required
