We are hiring an Industrial Maintenance Technician for our DAY Shift!

DAY Shift : Monday to Thursday 6:00am - 3:00pm Friday 6am-12:00pm

Location : 1280 Balmoral Road Cambridge, ON

Compensation: Starting rates between $25-$30 based on experience

Skills: Experience working in Industrial Maintenance and have a firm understanding of weld shop/ paint shop/ press shop type equipment

• Tool and Dye apprentice or experience an asset
• Previous Maintenance Planning role an asset

Specific Job Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret blueprints and drawings with no supervision.
• Perform preventative maintenance to buildings and equipment as required.
• Repair minor breakdowns on all equipment as required.
• Assist with outsourcing work for major breakdowns and equipment upgrades to specialty trades.
• Must be able to operate all machine shop equipment efficiently.
• Must complete, record, document, and maintain all associated records pertaining to the job function.
• Requires working to close tolerance.
• Trouble shoot and repair in an effective and timely manner.
• Must be able to be on call during off shift hours for major breakdowns.
• Must be able to work independently or in a team environment.
• Instruct and assist helpers performing related job functions.
• Maintain an organized and safe working area.
• Abide by the Occupational Health & Safety Act; Company Health & Safety Policies and Procedures.
• All duties to be performed to company standards, both proficiently and efficiently with little or no supervision.
