YOUR ADVANTAGES
- Bi-weekly pay ;
- Overtime is paid (time and half on week days /1 and 3/4 on week-ends) ;
- Safety equipment provided (except safety boots) ;
- Salary starts at: 27.50 $ (if no Red Seal Certification) / 33.61$ (if has Red Seal Certification) ;
- Eligible to the benefit plan after 120 working days ;
- Eligible to the pension plan after 120 working days ;
- You only work around 12 weekends/year.
YOUR ROLE
- Carrying out the maintenance and repairs of feed mill facilities and equipment including forklifts, long jacks, and wrappers.
YOU FIT THE FOLLOWING PROFILE
- You are a certified industrial mechanic (Red Seal preferred) ;
- You have previous maintenance experience in a plant or warehouse environment ;
- You are mechanically inclined and able to do welding, odd carpentry jobs (repairs, painting, etc.) and electrical work ;
- You are a great team player ;
- You are able to work with minimal supervision ;
- Asset: Electronic, PLC and/or hydraulic experience ;
- Must be flexible to work on weekend, occasionally ;
- Must be flexible to take evening calls (4:30 pm to midnight), when on call. We do a team rotation.
