Responsibilities


Creates a series of documents to reflect the warranty and recoverable costs observing the terms offered by the related parties and equipment and component suppliers and then associates these with existing object structures in the Fleet Maintenance System (FMS). Follows up with Shop Supervisors, Warranty Administrators, Planners and Clerks as necessary to ensure correct recovery and billing procedures are followed for all claims and recoverable. Reviews shop repair orders submitted and begins the research process to structure a warranty claim. Receives cheques and/or credit memos from vendors to satisfy claims. Prepares a variety of reports to support claims, assists in report analysis and provides monthly statistics.

Qualifications


EDUCATION:


Requires High School plus intermediate courses in spreadsheet, word processing, database, and report writing software.


EXPERIENCE: (1.5)


Requires one (1) year previous experience in an administrative support position involving the use of various record keeping and report writing systems. A further period of up to six (6) months in the position is required to become familiar with the Fleet Maintenance System, Records Management System, as well as gain adequate knowledge of procedures, operations, materials and labour to structure an warranty claim.

Recruitment Process: An applicant will be required to demonstrate their suitability for this position by meeting the minimum level of qualifications and experience in order to be invited into the selection process. A standard interview format will be used including general, scenario and behavioural descriptive interview questions.

37.5 hours per week.

This position offers the flexibility of working both on-site and remotely within B.C.

Rate of Pay


Salary: $4,690- $5,628 per month (Actual salary offered will be commensurate with education, experience and internal parity).
