ASSEMBLER / MAINTENANCE ASSISTANT
Job Summary
The Maintenance Assistants are responsible for ensuring equipment is delivered on time and according to operational demands, and for increasing the utilization and efficiency of assets.
Minimum Job Qualifications
Perform activities as assigned by the Technology Lifecycle Management (TLM) Maintenance Manager, Maintenance Supervisor, or Technician.
Work under the direct supervision of Technicians or Maintenance Supervisors.
Perform low-level, noninvasive maintenance tasks.
Ensure that assigned equipment is maintained according to the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) for the Division, the relevant maintenance programs and standard work.
Adhere to transactional discipline within TLM business systems to record materials and supplies, labor costs, and equipment maintenance performance history such as movements, work orders, parts used, and time to maintain.
Comply with Division TLM standards. - Participate in the continuous improvement culture, initiatives, and remedial work plans within the MB to improve asset utilization and cost of service delivery (CoSD).
Support continuous improvement efforts to improve the efficiency and productivity of Maintenance Technicians.
Preferred Qualifications
High School Diploma
The Maintenance Assistant must have the ability to perform basic Assembly - disassembly, visual inspection, and basic maintenance on the equipment assigned.
Good communication skills both written and verbal
Basic Computer skills are recommended.
Candidates must be able to legally work and reside in Canada, without sponsorship.
