Summary:
Under the direction of the Client Site Supervisor and Client Site Lead, the Equipment Operator is responsible for operating equipment to load and unload, transport, or organize goods and materials in Warehousing, storage, or yard environment. This is a safety-sensitive position that requires completion of pre-employment/pre -access testing.

Key Focuses:
  • Load/unload and move materials from the warehouse, yards, and/or trucks.
  • Must have a good working knowledge of materials used in the industry
  • Work in adherence to all safe work practices and procedures.
  • Pick items as per work orders if required.
  • Operate forklifts and flat deck trucks
  • Assist with warehouse duties as required.
  • Be alert to risks and threats in order to prevent losses before they occur
  • Give proper care to the operation and maintenance of vehicles and equipment
  • 7 on and 7 off schedule (Days and Nights)
Knowledge and Skill Requirements:
  • At least 5-10 years of Loader operating experience with related industry experience in Warehousing or Inventory management is required
  • High School Diploma or GED is required
  • Ability to climb ladders, work at heights, use fall protection equipment
  • Valid CSO certification (or combination of CSTS and OSSA or BSO is required)
  • Valid Class five (5) driver’s license and a clean three (3) year driver’s abstract is required.
  • Must be proficient with a Loader with certification. Candidates with grapple and bucket attachments certifications are required.
  • Must have experience offloading large pipe(s) (at least 40-60 feet in length)
  • Microsoft Office Suite experience is an asset.
  • Maximo experience is an asset.
  • Perform any related and/or additional duties as assigned.
This is a full-time position located on CNUL Albian Site
