Linehaul Brokers Job at Simard Transport
Sim-Tran Ontario Inc. has an immediate need for professional Linehaul Brokers to run the Toronto to Montreal. Majority of loads will be drop and hook with minimal live-loading. Brokers will average 4 trips per week.
Duties:
· Provide exceptional customer service
· Complete thorough pre-trip inspections
· Complete daily road sheets
· Maintain log books
· Operate in a safe manner, consistent with all MTO requirements
· Complete preventative maintenance checks
Employment Requirements
- Must have a valid Ontario AZ drivers license in good standing
- Clean drivers abstract
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Proficient in reading, writing and speaking English
- Good working knowledge of legislation relating to commercial transport activity
Truck requirements:
- Truck must be 2006 or newer
- Sleeper is required
