Job Responsibilities:


Duties Include:


  • Prepare section so everything is fully stocked for service
  • Cook meals to order while working efficiently and making sure there is minimal food wastage
  • Use creativity to design and cook specials
  • Maintain high standards of food presentation at all times
  • Help with organizing and managing banquets
  • Expediting banquets as needed
  • Liaising with Executive Chef in regard to achieving overall high standards of cooking within the kitchen
  • always Adhering to WHMIS and Food Safe rules
  • Keep section clean, tidy and safe


Qualifications:


We are looking for Line Cooks who:


  • Have an interest in cooking and willing to learn
  • Can work well under pressure
  • Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment
  • Are organized and efficient
  • Have attention to detail
  • Are team players with a positive, can-do attitude
  • Are dependable and reliable
  • Use initiative
  • Are willing to work weekends and nights
  • Preferably have at least two years experience working in a busy kitchen
  • Preferably have their Food Safe certification (valid in Alberta)

We Offer:


Compensation:


  • $19-$22 per hour, depending on experience, with the possibility of advancement
  • Daily tip-outs received weekly
  • Free meal per shift

  • Full package health benefits after 6 months (available if you work over 24 hours)
