Lifetimes Operator III Job at MaxSys Staffing & Consulting
MaxSys Staffing and Consulting is hiring on behalf of a global leader in the medical research and manufacturing industry located in Ottawa's west end.
We are currently seeking a Lifetimes Operator to join our team. This person must be a self-starter and have the ability to follow instructions and use good judgement. The individual must be flexible and be able to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities. This position requires someone who can work Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Responsibilities:
Cartridge testing and stability test organization based on approved protocols
Organizing and keeping track of experiments and fluids in fridges; and other job-related tasks as necessary
In order to perform testing, you will be required to use in house data collection and summary programs such as ISD, ISTATS, WINISD, EGRESS and Probe Trak.
Required Education and Experience:
- A high school diploma
- Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- A mechanical aptitude and good organizational skills
- Experience running cartridges and working with blood is preferred
- Science/Chemistry/Biochemistry and/or phlebotomy experience would be considered an asset
- A keen interest in continuous learning
