St. Anthony's Clinic Pharmacy in Victoria is seeking Licensed Practical Nurses to join our mobile nursing care team. We are looking to welcome Nurses with casual, part time and full time availability. In addition, we welcome new graduates and experienced Licensed Practical Nurses.

Position Summary:

• Mobile nursing practice that provides assistance with medication regimes and administration of injections to our clients in their home.
• Provide direct practical nursing care to patients in accordance with applicable legislation, regulations, by-laws and employer policies.
• Perform within the LPN scope of practice in administration of PO meds, subcutaneous and intramuscular injections, BG Monitoring and other duties as assigned.
• Time commitment for our Care Routes is between 4 to 7.5 hours per day.
• Shifts are scheduled between 7:30 am and 8:30pm.

Skills/Abilities:

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Motivated to provide excellent client care.
• Knowledge and background in cardiology and diabetes are strong assets.
• Able to effectively use a computer and electronic devices.
• Able to work effectively as a team member.

Requirements:

• Graduation from an accredited Licensed Practical Nursing Program.
• Valid BC Driver's License and a reliable vehicle (mileage reimbursement included in compensation package)
• Current registration with British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM) and an unrestricted license with BCCNM.
• Criminal record check will be required following an offer of employment.
• Current CPR-C and First Aid certification required.
• Proof of two COVID-19 vaccinations.
