LANDFILL ATTENDANT The Regional District of Central Kootenay (RDCK) is inviting applications for the position of Landfill Attendant to work
shifts at the Nakusp Landfill (Area 1) and/or Rosebery &

AREAS 1 AND/OR 2— Slocan Transfer Stations (Area 2).

NAKUSP, ROSEBERY & Reporting to the Resource Recovery Operations Supervisor,
the successful candidate will be responsible for directing

SLOCAN public activity, collecting user fees from customers and
ensuring the site is kept in a safe, secure and orderly

manner. This is a part-time, on-call position with no

Part-Time Position minimum guaranteed hours. The successful candidate will
be available to work a varied shift schedule throughout the
full year (winter included) based on the operating hours of

the site(s).

NAKUSP LANDFILL ROSEBERY TRANSFER STATION

Monday/Wednesday/Saturday (Summer) Wednesday/Saturday (Year-Round)

9:00am-4:00pm 9:00am-3:00pm

Monday (Winter) SLOCAN TRANSFER STATION

9:00am-12:30pm Tuesday/Thursday/Saturday (Year-Round)

Wednesday/Saturday (Winter) 9:00am-3:00pm

9:00am-4:00pm

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: As a union position, all scheduling will be in accordance
with the CUPE Collective Agreement. 

Demonstrated ability to deal courteously and effectively
with the public This is a part-time as and when needed position working 

Proven ability to count cash and balance cash out and up to 24 hours per week. The successful candidate must
