This position is at the L01 level with an hourly pay range of $25.88 - $32.75

The Labourer will be responsible for moving furniture, equipment and other sundry items as directed and will also perform light custodial duties. Position may also provide temporary relief for Warehouse Person during peak work periods.

Knowledge and Skills required:

• Knowledge of safe lifting and moving methods and procedures.
• Basic communications skills (verbal/comprehension).
• Ability to use a variety of hand tools.
• Ability to lift medium to heavy weights.
• Ability to handle a physically demanding position.

• Ability to take direction from more than one source.
• Cross-cultural awareness and sensitivity

The successful applicant must have Grade 10 education and 3 to 6 months experience in performing labouring duties preferably in a healthcare or hospital environment; and Valid Class 5 Yukon Driver’s License with clean Driver’s abstract.Workplace Violence Prevention training and Meditech experience are desired.
