Acara Glass & Aluminum is proud to have been in business for over 34 years. We are a full service glass and aluminum company specializing in sales, service and installations in the Saskatoon area. We are looking for the right people to join our team and help the company keep up with the current workload and continue to grow.
We are looking for experienced commercial glass and aluminum installer(s). The responsibilities will include assembly and installation of prefabricated aluminum for:
- commercial storefronts
- curtain wall
- window systems
- sealed units
- mirrors
- glass partitions
The candidate would also need to:
- read and interpret blueprints and specifications
- install, fit, fabricate and attach architectural aluminum flashing and break shapes to industrial, institutional and commercial buildings
- lead a team of installers, train, develop and mentor junior staff
provide field training to more junior level or less experienced workers
Qualifications
- 5+ years' glazing experience on commercial buildings
- good communication skills
- ability to work at heights
- valid Class 5 driver's license
