Boundary Electric is an electrical manufacturing and service company in Grand Forks, BC serving all facets of the electrical industry. We are seeking a very organized individual to ensure accuracy and integrity throughout our Retail Store's inventory, shipping and receiving systems. In addition to providing support to the Retail Services Manager, the Inventory & Retail Specialist will balance multiple demands while maintaining control over inventory.
All Boundary Electric employees are required to adhere to company guidelines and principles and shall maintain alignment with the companies' values and mission.

Key Functions:

• Submit material requisitions to Purchasing Department to replenish stock based on current demands and stock levels.
• Ensure that the Retail Store and storeage areas for overflow stock are clean, organized and appealing to Customers.
• Communicate clearly and effectively with all relevant stakeholders.
• Support Retail Services Manager in assisting customers, creating invoices, processing payments and sourcing speacial orders.
• Support the service department by gathering stock as requested by Service Technicians or Shop Staff, assign to jobs in financial system and notify staff member when ready to pick-up.

Shipping & Receiving:

• Receive inventory against the Purchase Order and pack slip. Paperwork is accurately completed and sent to Purchasing Department with notes of damages or discrepancies.
• Label all received stock and allocate to internal departments or restock the Retail shelves as per the purchase order.
• Update shipping log, label shipments, take pictures of outgoing shipments and prepare waybills associated with Retail purchases and returns.

Education, Skills and Attributes:

• Strong computer skills and administrative skills.
• Strong communication skills, written and verbal.
• Attention to detail.
• Strong organization skills.
• Previous experience in Inventory Control and or Customer Service.
